Dollar-Limit Increase to the Term Contract for LED Streetlight Fixtures for the Transportation Department (Citywide)
This contract for LED streetlight fixtures is a primary means for the City's LED conversion project and replacement of failed streetlights by providing roadway luminaires for the City's local, collector, and major roadways. The dollar-limit increase is funded by CDBG funds and needed to add a CDBG-funded project to install and upgrade streetlights in specific, qualifying areas.
The Transportation Department and Purchasing recommend increasing the dollar-limit with Wesco Distribution, Inc., dba Brown Wholesale and Wesco International, Inc., by $240,000, from $1,280,000 to $1,520,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index. The increase is funded by CDBG funds.
