Purchase of Seven Additional Utility Carts (Six Electric, One Gas) for the Water Resources Department (Citywide)
The new Signal Butte Water Treatment Plant needs five carts; three general-duty units for their Maintenance Division and two heavy-duty units for their Operations Division. The Greenfield Water Reclamation Plant needs two utility carts; a general-duty unit for daily operations use, and a rugged heavy-duty unit.
The Water Resources Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the National IPA / Region 4 Education Service Center cooperative contract with EZGO Division of Textron, Inc., at $62,891.98.
