Three-Year Term Contract for a Fiber and Conduit Management System as requested by the Information Technology, Engineering, and Transportation Departments (Citywide)
The City currently maintains approximately 468 miles of fiber and conduit in the 160 square miles of planning area. This Fiber and Conduit Management System will be instrumental in the development of a fiber and conduit management plan that will be used to guide the feasibility, planning, budgeting, and capacity of City resources. The plan will also be used to support decision making when the City receives requests for rental and in-kind development of fiber and conduit resources within its boundaries.
An evaluation committee recommends awarding the contract to the highest-scored proposal, 3-GIS LLC, at $224,930, plus contingency of $23,198.60 and estimated sales tax of $7,056, for the three-year project total of $255,184.60.
