Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Tire Maintenance and Repair Services for the Fleet Services Department (Citywide)
This contract will provide tire maintenance and repair services on all wheeled equipment, maintained by the Fleet Services Department. The City’s overall fleet size of larger classes of vehicles is approximately 1,750 units. The contractor will perform inspections, scheduled maintenance, and repairs at the Fleet Services Sixth Street and East Mesa facilities and will also provide 24/7 emergency call-out service for all vehicles covered under this contract.
An evaluation committee recommends awarding the contract to the highest-scored proposal from Jack’s Tire & Oil Management Company, Inc., at $430,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
