Title: Dollar Limit Increase to the Term Contract for Information Technology Solutions for the Purchase of a Capital Improvement Program Project Management (CIPPM) Solution (Replacement) for the Engineering Department (Citywide) The City’s current CIP software solution is over a decade old, and relies on outdated and depreciated technology, and has resulted in functional challenges with modern internet browsers. Without a new CIP project management solution, Engineering would have increased challenges to effectively manage projects resulting in increased staff time required, delays, and cost increases. The Kahua solution will provide a cloud-hosted CIPPM that will improve Engineering’s ability to manage CIP projects more effectively and improve communication with department customers and contractors. The Engineering Department, Department of Innovation and Technology, and Purchasing recommend increasing the dollar limit with CDW Government LLC; and SHI International Corp., by $2,970,211.38, from $11,000,000 to $13,970,211.38, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5% or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
