Title: Dollar Limit Increase for the Purchase of Microwave Radio Communications Equipment and Services for the Topaz Regional Wireless Cooperative (TRWC) H60 Public Safety Radio Expansion Site (Citywide) The H60 Public Safety Radio Expansion Site will expand radio coverage to areas in the south/east portion of the TRWC as coverage needs have outgrown the original radio system design. The dollar limit increase is needed for additional purchases of public safety grade radio/network equipment, including antennas, cabling, 800 Mhz subsite, VHZ radio equipment, and installation services for the tower site in Apache Junction. The Department of Innovation and Technology and Purchasing recommend increasing the dollar limit by $400,000, from $870,000 to $1,270,000, using the State of Arizona cooperative contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc.; and authorizing a purchase from the sole source vendor, Aviat Networks for $50,000; for the combined total of $1,320,000.
