Title: Use of a Cooperative Contract for the Purchase of Four Crew Trucks with Utility Service Bodies for the Energy Resources and Water Resources Departments (Citywide) This purchase will provide crew trucks with Freightliner chassis with utility service bodies; two additions for Energy Resources, and two replacements for Water Resources. The City has standardized our fleet in which Freightliner has been able to standardize crew trucks to meet our specifications in all categories. The vehicles that are being replaced have met established criteria and will be either traded, auctioned, sold, or deployed for special uses. The Fleet Services, Energy Resources, and Water Resources Departments and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the State of Arizona cooperative contract with Freightliner of Arizona, for $1,093,339.84. This purchase is funded by the Capital Utility Fund and Utility Replacement Extension and Renewal Fund.
