Purchase of Natural Gas Leak Survey Equipment (Replacement/Upgrade) for the Energy Resources Department (Citywide)
This purchase will provide equipment for natural gas leak surveys and natural gas odorant testing for the Energy Resources Department. The department is responsible for leak surveying the City’s natural gas system to meet federal code, Arizona Corporation Commission, and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) compliance. This equipment will upgrade its current system to meet industry standards and utilize the latest technology in gas leak detection.
The Energy Resources and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, Heath Consultants Incorporated, at $98,000.
