Ratification of the Emergency Purchase for Custodial Services for Parks and Sports Fields Facilities for the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department (Citywide)
This emergency purchase provides custodial cleaning services to maintain sanitization and overall cleanliness for three months of services from August 1, 2022 through October 31, 2022. The emergency purchase is due to the current contractor, Carnation Building Services, Inc., closing their business on July 31, 2022. The City is in the process of re-bidding this contract with an anticipated Council award by November 1, 2022.
The Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department and Purchasing recommend ratifying the purchase from the contract with Plan B Facility Services, at $128,037, based on estimated requirements.
