Purchase of Two, E-One Fire Pumper Trucks (Replacements) for the Mesa Fire and Medical Department (Citywide)
The new apparatus will be used as emergency response frontline apparatus. These will be the first non-Pierce pumpers in the fleet in over 20 years. The apparatus that are being replaced have met the established criteria and will be sold by a sealed bid process.
The Mesa Fire and Medical Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the Sourcewell cooperative contract with H & E Equipment Services, at $1,588,161.96. This purchase is funded by 2018 Public Safety Bonds.
