Purchase of Replacement Seating for the Mesa Arts Center (District 4)
Mesa Arts Center (MAC) has been replacing worn seating in the Ikeda Theater and recently purchased 54, portable VIP chairs. After the old seating was removed, MAC realized there is ample room for more VIP chairs. This purchase is for 24 additional chairs of the same product. It will be the second purchase since May and the two purchases total $35,825.34.
The Arts and Culture Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the Sourcewell cooperative contract with Hussey Seating Company, at $11,170.28.
