Title: Three-Year Term Contract with Two-Year Renewal Options for CCTV Camera Replacement for the Transportation Department (Citywide) The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) group currently operates over 350 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras that are used for real-time monitoring traffic conditions. This contract is for furnishing, modification, and installation of cameras and related equipment for the City’s ITS group on an as-needed basis and as cameras meet their useful life. Work will consist of furnishing cameras and related parts; installation, removal, and replacement of cameras, cable, and wireless access points. The Transportation Department and Procurement Services recommend awarding the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, Fire Security Electronics & Communications, Inc. at $175,000, annually with an annual increase allowance of up to 5% or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
