Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Powdered Activated Carbon for the Water Resources Department (Citywide)
This contract will provide powdered activated carbon used for the removal of total organic carbon, as well as taste and odor control for water received from the Central Arizona Project canal system for potable drinking water treatment at the Brown Road plant.
An evaluation committee recommends awarding the contract to the highest-scored proposals from Atlas Carbon, LLC (Primary); and Ingevity Corporation (Secondary); at $250,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
