Ten-Month Use of a Cooperative Term Contract with Renewal Options for the Purchase of Security and Protection Systems for the Mesa Police Department (Citywide)
This contract provides equipment, parts, installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support for physical security systems used at City-owned buildings and facilities. These systems include electronic door access, intrusion alarms, and related equipment used to control access to and protect City-owned facilities and property. Mesa Police Department Information Technology coordinates these services for Police Department facilities and supports similar physical security projects for other City departments.
The Mesa Police Department and Procurement Services recommend authorizing the purchase using the State of Arizona cooperative contract with APL Access and Security, Inc. within the existing combined annual contract amount of $1,000,000.
