Purchase of Solar-Powered Portable Traffic Signal Trailers for the Transportation Department (Sole Source) (Citywide)
This purchase will provide a Solar-Powered Portable Traffic Signal System to support the City of Mesa’s ongoing commitment to public safety, effective traffic management, and efficient roadway operations. The system will serve as a temporary traffic control solution at locations requiring enhanced safety measures or operational flexibility, particularly in areas with increased commercial vehicle activity or shifting traffic patterns.
The Transportation Department and Procurement Services recommend awarding the contract to the sole source vendor, OMJC Signal, in an amount not to exceed $315,000.
