Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Barricade Rental Service for Special Events for various City Departments (Citywide)
Multiple City departments including Police, Parks and Recreation, and Transportation will use this contract for their temporary traffic control needs at special events and block parties. The City of Mesa led this procurement for both Mesa and the City of Apache Junction.
A committee representing the Transportation, Energy Resources, Water Resources, and Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Departments, and Purchasing evaluated responses and recommend awarding the contract to the two, highest scored respondents: Roadsafe Traffic Systems Inc. (Primary); and Trafficade Service LLC dba AWP Safety (Secondary) at $300,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5% or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
