Authorizing the City Manager to enter into Purchase Power Agreements with Solon Development, LLC, for four downtown Mesa solar projects, for operational terms of 25 years. (District 4)
The projects will consist of constructing solar photovoltaic generating systems at four sites in downtown Mesa: the Arizona State University building, The Plaza at Mesa City Center, and the parking lots at the Municipal Building (55 North Center Street), and Mesa City Plaza. The vendor will privately finance, develop, design, construct, own, report, operate, and maintain the system. Energy Resources will purchase this solar energy from the projects for use in its electric supply portfolio.
