Purchase of Acoustic Wall Panels (Replacement/Upgrade) for the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department (Single Response) (Citywide)
Mesa Convention Center has been working on updating the finishes throughout the Mesa Convention Center. The existing treatment on the walls for sound dampening is dated. The new acoustic wall panels will provide a more modern look and will also match the style of updates that have been applied in the Conference Theater. Staff anticipates the upgrades will improve the customer experience as well as retain customers, and attract new and increased business in event bookings.
The Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder, Continental Flooring Company, at $42,967.27.
