Use of a Cooperative Contract for the Purchase of One EZ STAK Trailer (Replacement) for the Fleet Services and Mesa Police Department (Citywide)
This trailer will provide a dedicated, organized, and air-conditioned space for the Mesa Police Department Honor Guard to prepare for their ceremonies and store equipment. This trailer will be used for uniform storage, a dressing area, flag, and ceremonial rifle storage, and as a coffin area when a member of the Police Department is killed in the line of duty.
The Fleet Services and Mesa Police Departments and Procurement Services recommend authorizing the purchase using the Sourcewell cooperative contract with Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. at $167,000.
