Title: Dollar-Limit Increase to the Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Cleaning and Repair of Fire Personal Protective Equipment for the Mesa Medical and Fire Department (Citywide) This contract provides for the annual cleaning, inspection, and repair of Fire Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include all turnouts, gloves, hoods, and boots for all members of the Mesa Fire and Medical Department. Cleaning and repairs are completed annually on Fire PPE per National Fire Protection Association Standard. The dollar-limit increase is needed for additional services, rental of turnout gear, being added to the contract. The Fire and Medical Department and Purchasing recommend increasing the dollar-limit with Arizona Personal Protective Equipment Recon, Inc. Years 1 through 3, by $48,600 annually, from $760,000 to $808,600 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
