Title: Three-Year Term Contract with Two-Year Renewal Options for Traffic Signal Loop Detection Installation Services for the Transportation Department (Single Response) (Citywide) This contract is for the installation of traffic signal in-pavement inductive loop detectors. Traffic signal loop detectors are used at signalized intersections to detect the presence of cars, trucks and bicycles. The contract will be used for maintenance purposes to replace existing detectors that are defective and for the installation of new detectors. This is funded through the Transportation Department Operating Budget using Local Street Sales Tax Fund. The Transportation Department and Procurement Services recommend awarding the contract to the single, responsive, and responsible bidder, Kimbrell Electric, in an amount not to exceed $143,750 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5% or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
