Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Water, Wastewater Mixer Equipment Parts and Services for the Water Resources Department (Citywide)
This contract will be used for the purchase of water and wastewater mixer equipment, parts, and related maintenance services. The City operates two water treatment plants and three wastewater reclamation plants, and it is necessary to maintain these critical assets in good working condition. A failure of a mixer could result in a reduction in plant capacity.
An evaluation committee recommends awarding the contract to the qualified proposals from SPX Flow US, LLC; and SPX Flow, Inc., dba Philadelphia Mixing Solution; at $150,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
