Approving and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Airport Improvement Program Grant Agreement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), with the unique funding component from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), for the design of midfield crossover taxiways and the realignment of taxiways D3, D4, D7, and D8 at Falcon Field Airport. The total estimated cost for this project is $382,378 with the FAA paying $291,392. Funding for the remaining $90,986 is the responsibility of the City. The City will seek to obtain a matching grant from the Arizona Department of Transportation in the estimated amount of $14,304, and if obtained, the City will pay the remaining estimated amount of $76,682 with funds from the Falcon Field Airport Enterprise Fund.
