Award of Additional Vendors to the Term Contract for Science and Lab Supplies and Equipment for the Water Resources Department (Citywide)
This contract provides laboratory consumables, supplies and equipment for the Water Resources Department’s Compliance Laboratory and the City’s Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Due to current issues with long lead times in obtaining laboratory supplies, City staff determined awarding additional vendors to this contract would be beneficial.
The Water Resources Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the cooperative contracts with VWR International (through State of Arizona); and USA BlueBook (through City of Goodyear); at $200,000 annually, based on estimated usage.
