Title: Dollar Limit Increase to the Cooperative Contract for a Six-Year Service and Capital Expenditure Agreement for Motorola System Upgrade II for the TOPAZ Regional Wireless Cooperative as requested by the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) (Sole Source) (Citywide) The Motorola System Upgrade Agreement II provides annual software upgrades, upgrades to the network core hardware to support the software upgrades, and technical support services for the TOPAZ Regional Wireless Cooperative (TRWC) Public Safety voice two-way radio network. DoIT is requesting an increase to incorporate the 800 MHz 6-Channel ASTRO Standalone Repeater Site add-on to the TOPAZ ASTRO 25 Network. The enhancement project will provide better signal acquisition and coverage for first responders utilizing the network. DoIT and Procurement Services recommend increasing the dollar limit with Motorola Solutions, Inc., by $665,100 from $12,647,700 to $13,312,800 for the remaining term of the contract.
