Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Appliances for the Mesa Fire and Medical Department (Citywide)
The Fire and Medical Department currently has 21 fire stations that are manned 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Appliances such as dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers are furnished for each station. This contract will provide replacement appliances as needed. Additionally, future fire facilities will be furnished using this contract.
The Mesa Fire and Medical Department and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, Mesa Discount, Inc., dba, Mesa TV & Appliance (a Mesa business), at $75,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
