Use of a Cooperative Contract for the Purchase of Seven Automated Side Loading Refuse Trucks (Replacement) for the Fleet Services and Solid Waste Departments (Citywide)
The Fleet Services and Solid Waste Departments recommend the purchase of seven diesel-powered Automated Side Loading Refuse Trucks to replace seven units that have met the Fleet and OMB criteria for replacement. These specialized vehicles are used to collect residential refuse, recycling, and green waste throughout the City.
The Fleet Services and Solid Waste Departments and Procurement Services recommend authorizing the purchase using the Sourcewell cooperative contract with Rush Truck Centers of Arizona, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $3,928,525, based on estimated requirements.
