Water Resources currently has one inoperable trailer due to a metal fatigue-induced failure. Two other trailers are the same year/make/model and show similar signs of metal fatigue. Fleet Services recommends replacement of all three trailers at this time.

The Fleet Services and Water Resources Departments and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the Sourcewell cooperative contract with Empire Southwest, LLC (a Mesa business) for $110,276.73, based on estimated requirements. This purchase is funded by the Utility Replacement Extension and Renewal Fund.
