The current unit has exceeded its reliable service life and no longer meets the operational demands placed on it. The unit being replaced will be traded, auctioned or sold. A new utility truck will provide dependable on-scene air supply, portable lighting for nighttime and low-visibility incidents, and rehabilitation support to ensure firefighter health and safety during extended operations.
