This contract will provide full-service backflow testing consisting of annual backflow inspection, repair, replacement, and reporting of approximately 500 assemblies.

The Transportation Department and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidders, American Backflow and Fire Prevention (Primary); and TDIndustries (Secondary); at $75,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
