Use of a Cooperative Contract for Oracle Licensing and Support for the Department of Innovation and Technology (Citywide)
Oracle database software supports the City’s utility billing (CIS) and enterprise job scheduling system Automic Automation (AWA). The enterprise job scheduling system provides automated task and job processing for several critical applications including ERP, CIS, Fire Applications, and Court Case Management. The additional Oracle licenses are needed to provide capacity due to environment growth, and operation including critical system events (updates and upgrades), planned maintenance, and unexpected system impacts such as server and hardware failures.
The Department of Innovation and Technology, and Procurement Services recommend authorizing the purchase using the Maricopa County Contract with Mythics, LLC. at $231,000.00.
