Purchase of a Mechanical PM-10 Street Sweeper with High Dump Capacity for the Transportation Department (Replacement) as requested by the Fleet Services Department (Citywide)
Transportation Field Operations will use this mechanical street sweeper to support their asphalt milling, slurry seal, and fog seal operations conducted by the department’s Asphalt Repair and Pavement Preservation work groups. In addition, this sweeper will help Transportation meet the demands of their in-house street maintenance program and comply with Maricopa County dust regulations.
The Fleet Services and Transportation Departments, and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, Freightliner of Arizona, LLC, at $269,954.92. This purchase is funded by the Local Streets Fund.
