One-Year Renewal with a One-Year Renewal Option to the Term Contract for Backflow Testing and Repair Services for various City Departments (as requested by the Water Resources Department) (Citywide)
This contract provides backflow assembly testing and repair services to ensure the backflow assemblies are in good working condition and in compliance with municipal code for various departments including Transportation, Water Resources, and Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities.
The Water Resources Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the renewal with Metro Fire Equipment, Inc., at $165,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
