Purchase of Furniture (Additions) to Configure the Second Floor Public Areas at the Main Library as requested by the Library Services Department

This purchase will provide furniture including chairs and desks for the eight new study/meeting rooms and couches, benches, stools, desks, tables and other fixtures throughout the second-floor lobby and plaza area. This purchase is one part of the remodel project which moves the computers and adult area completely upstairs and allows for the redevelopment of the downstairs to a more family and kid friendly space.
The Library Services Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the State of Arizona cooperative contract with Goodmans Interior Structures, at $173,573.87.
