Title: Purchase for Replacement Radio/Communications Test Equipment for the Information Technology Department (Sole Source) (Citywide) Information Technology - Communications manages and maintains 3,000 radios for the Police Department, Fire and Medical Department and other City departments. This equipment will ensure all radios are operating within manufacturer specifications, which is vital for reliable two-way radio communications. The over-the-air waveform analyzer will aid in identifying radios that may become unreliable and require immediate servicing. The analyzer does not replace the need for annual preventive maintenance; it helps identify the radios most in need of service. The Information Technology Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase from the sole source vendor, Locus Diagnostics, LLC, at $72,500, based on estimated requirements.
