21-Month Term Contract with Three Years of Renewal Options for Uniform Garment Rentals for Various City Departments (Citywide)
This contract provides uniform garments rental to approximately 300 City employees from Mesa Fire and Medical, Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, Transportation, Fleet Services, Environmental Management and Sustainability, Water Resources and Energy Resources. The garments furnished by the contractor will be maintained through routine laundering, pressing and repairing.
The Business Services Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the National IPA/City of Tucson cooperative contract with Prudential Overall Supply, at $304,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
