Purchase of Storage Infrastructure Hardware to Upgrade/Expand Data Storage Capacity for the Information Technology Department (Citywide)
This purchase will upgrade two Nimble storage systems to the next generation of storage controller to provide more processing power and memory. The upgrade is necessary to prepare for the migration of data from aging storage in preparation for the retirement of those older storage platforms.
The Information Technology Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the State of Arizona cooperative contract with the lowest-quoted vendor, iT1 Source, at $137,519.29. This purchase is funded by Lifecycle Management Funds.
