Title: Dollar-Limit Increase and Three-Month Renewal to the Term Contract for Overhead Door Maintenance and Repair Services for the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities (PRCF) Maintenance Department (Citywide) The increase is needed to complete the remaining additional and unanticipated preventative maintenance and repairs for Year-3 of the contract. In addition, PRCF is in the process of revising the specification and scope for a new solicitation and has requested a three-month renewal with Miner Southwest to complete the re-bid and contract award. The Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department and Purchasing recommend: (a) increasing the dollar-limit by $50,000, from $125,000 to $175,000, for Year-3 of the term contract; and (b) authorizing a three-month renewal with Material Handling Services, dba Miner Southwest, for an additional $50,000, based on estimated usage. The total amount requested for this contract is $100,000.
