Title: Ratification of the Emergency Purchase and Dollar-Limit Threshold for Storm Cleanup and Tree Removal Services for the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department (Districts 1 and 3) The Mesa Cemetery and Dobson Ranch Golf Course experienced severe monsoon damage in July and August that resulted in the loss of over 180 trees. The severity of damage and loss of trees from these storms required emergency cleanup and tree and stump removal to maintain public safety. The Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department and Purchasing recommend ratifying the purchase with Mejia’s Tree Trimming, at $77,400; West Coast Arborists, at $52,759.57; and Pacheco Landscaping LLC, at $29,650; for a total of $159,809.57, and authorizing the dollar-limit threshold of $225,000, based on estimated requirements.
