Title: Purchase of a Geographic Information System to Expand the Current ESRI System for Crime Analysis as requested by the Police Department (Citywide) The Police Department requires a Geographic Information System (GIS) that produces a series of dashboards for real-time computer-aided dispatch events and another dashboard for near real-time incident information. This purchase will allow crime analysts to create dynamic dashboards that provide up-to-date crime information to internal users. In addition, an expansion of the current ESRI is required to provide the dashboards for Command and Executive Staff. The Police Department and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the sole source vendor, Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI), at $45,205.68. This purchase is funded by Asset Forfeiture (RICO) Funds.
