Three-Year Term Contract for Slurry Seal Sand for the Transportation Department (Single Response) (Citywide)
The Transportation Department uses slurry seal sand to seal and enrich weathered pavements, fill fine cracks in the pavement surface, provide additional skid resistance and inhibit raveling.
The Transportation Department and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to Calmat Company, dba Vulcan Materials Company, at $552,000 annually, based on estimated requirements.
