Purchase of Replacement/Upgrade Wireless Access Points for Wireless Network Connectivity for the Information Technology Department (Citywide)
Wireless access points provide wireless network connectivity for the public, guests and Mesa City staff throughout City facilities. The existing wireless access points will be at the end of support in December 2018. The new equipment will enhance wireless speed and reliability.
The Information Technology Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the Maricopa County contract with SHI, at $172,206, based on estimated requirements. This purchase is funded by the IT Lifecycle Program.
