Title: Approving and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community for the receipt and distribution of $1,080,000 in Proposition 202 Funds. (Citywide) Under this Agreement, $500,000 is awarded to the following City of Mesa programs: Fire and Medical, Immunization Program ($85,000); Police Department, Field Intelligence Officer Program Equipment ($79,565), Making Every Student Accountable ($14,181), and Computer Forensics Unit Training and Equipment ($35,965); Mesa Counts on College, GED Program Expansion ($35,289); Downtown Transformation, Downtown Façade Improvements ($100,000); Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, Kleinman Park Playground Renovation ($100,000); and the i.d.e.a. Museum, Bolstering Child Development Through Creativity ($50,000).
