Award Additional Vendor to the Three-Year Term Contract for Streetlight and Traffic Signal Poles, Mast Arms and Anchor Bolts for the Materials and Supply Warehouse (for the Transportation Department) (Citywide)
On August 22, 2016, Council approved the initial three-year term contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidders. Due to a typographical error on the bid tabulation, Group 5 - 400 Series Poles was inadvertently awarded to the second lowest bidder, Cem-Tec Corporation. Both contractors were contacted and the City will re-award Group 5 to the actual lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Southwest Fabrication, LLC.
The Business Services and Transportation Departments, and Purchasing recommend awarding the additional vendor, Southwest Fabrication, LLC, at $55,895 to this term contract.
