Approving and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Airport Improvement Program Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to construct re-alignment of Taxiway C and Runway 4R Run Up Area at Falcon Field Airport. The total estimated cost of the project is $2,179,800, with the FAA paying 91.06% ($1,984,926). Funding for the remaining 8.94% ($194,874) is the responsibility of the City. The City will seek to obtain a matching grant from the Arizona Department of Transportation in the amount of 4.47% ($97,437), and if obtained, the City will pay the remaining 4.47% ($97,437) with funds from the Falcon Field Airport Enterprise Fund.
