Purchase of Electric equipment for the Energy Resources Department (Districts 1 and 4)
The purchase of this electric equipment will provide the ability to provide temporary electric services to a variety of electrical devices at special events including, but not limited to, lighting, amplifiers, fans, pumps, and chillers. The electrical equipment consists of an electric service entrance section, a transformer and a distribution panel and will be assembled together or separately depending upon the electric devices used at the special events and the existing, permanent installed equipment at the location of the event.
The Engineering and Energy Resources Departments, and Purchasing recommend authorizing a purchase using the cooperative contract with Wesco Distribution (a Mesa business), at $33,538.72. This purchase will be funded by the Capital Electric Utility Fund.
