One-Year Term Contract for Portable Transport Ventilator Repairs and Maintenance Services for the Fire and Medical Department (Sole Source) (Citywide)
This contract will provide replacement service parts, factory service labor for repairs due to normal wear and tear and preventative maintenance at factory recommended intervals for the City's portable transport ventilators. These 30 ventilators provide respiratory care and manage the most critical, intubated and non-invasively ventilated patients from the initial point of emergency, during transport and through the hospital allowing for potentially lifesaving ventilation.
The Fire and Medical Department, and Purchasing recommend awarding the contract to the sole source vendor, CareFusion, at $30,780.00, based on estimated requirements.
