• Title: Greenfield Water Reclamation Plant Odor Control Expansion (Gilbert) This project includes the installation of an additional odor control scrubber unit and associated infrastructure at the GWRP. Other improvements include replacing the Plant's aging chemical feed systems and storage tanks, and re-lining the existing chemical containment area. A new and larger shade canopy will also be installed over the Plant's chemical containment area to help protect the new improvements. Recommend award to the lowest bidder, Sunwestern Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $1,998,708.50, plus an additional $199,870.85 (10% allowance for change orders) for a total award of $2,198,579.35. Funding for the project is available in the 2006 Wastewater Bond Authorization. For this project, the City of Mesa will be reimbursed 39.8% by the Town of Gilbert and 18.4% by the Town of Queen Creek.
