Eighteen-Month Term Contract for Office Furniture Products and Millwork Services for Citywide Use as requested by the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department (Citywide)
This contract will provide millwork services for Citywide departments as-needed. The City currently utilizes general contractors when soliciting millwork (cabinetry and countertops). By contracting with Arizona Correctional Industries, the City can reduce costs by avoiding markup fees on smaller projects that can be managed by City staff.
The Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department and Purchasing recommend authorizing the purchase using the State of Arizona cooperative contract with Arizona Correctional Industries, at $75,000 annually, based on estimated usage.
