Purchase of Video Wall Processor System for the Transportation Management Center as requested by the Transportation Department (Citywide)
This purchase will replace the video wall processor system currently used in the Transportation Management Center (TMC). This system drives the video wall display in the TMC to display cameras, traffic control systems, and other data sources on the display wall. The current system is beyond its expected service life. It uses an obsolete operating system and is difficult and expensive to repair.
An evaluation committee representing the Transportation Department and Purchasing recommends awarding the contract to the highest-scored proposal from Signal Perfection Limited, at $173,988.62. This purchase is funded by the Transportation Life Cycle budget.
